Do I need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to participate in a Heart + Sol Adventures event?
Yes. At Heart + Sol Adventures, our top priority is the the safety and welfare of our valued clients and staff. As such, you will be required to demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to participation in any Heart + Sol Adventures in-person event. Failure to show proof of vaccination within two weeks of the event will forfeit your spot and no money will be refunded.

With that in mind and the continuing uncertainty in the world, we are suspending international travel until we can be assured that it will be safe for our guests, staff and hosting country.

Your trips are for mid-life women. How do you define “mid-life”?
Yes, our focus is on mid-life women. We don’t define that by age. We ask that each woman decide for herself if the term fits. We’ve been fortunate enough to have met incredible, active women whose ages range from 40 to 70 years old who see themselves fitting into this group.
Women in this stage of life are seekers of connection, growth and meaning in their lives. Mid-life women have the wisdom and experience to embrace the world and see themselves in a new light.
It is our mission at Heart + Sol Adventures to bring opportunities for mid-life women to explore this stage with peace, joy and courage.
I’ve booked a trip, now what?
Bask in the excitement of the trip until we contact you. You will be notified of next steps via email as soon as the trip is confirmed with the minimum number of travelers.
How many women will I be traveling with on my trip?
The groups will typically range from 10-14 women plus two fearless leaders. We keep the groups intentionally small to support our mission of creating profound connections during each adventure.
Can I travel solo?
Yes! If you are ready for adventure and renewal but have been waiting for a travel friend, wait no more. Because with Heart + Sol Adventures, you are part of a tribe before the trip even begins. There is something profound that happens when women come together. Whether we know each other or not as our journey begins, we will feel deeply connected to each other by the time it ends. So come solo. You’ll leave with lifelong friends. Or come with friends, and you’ll make more friends. However you come, you will belong.
How physically fit do I need to be for Heart + Sol Adventures trips?
The recommended fitness level will be noted in each trip description. Take a good look at the itinerary to determine whether the trip would be a good fit for you. Don’t worry if it’s a stretch. We’re all about challenging ourselves. As long as you believe it’s possible, you’ll be able to do it.
When do I make my flight arrangements?
You will make a deposit to hold your spot when you book your trip. When we have the minimum number of travelers booked, we will confirm the trip. You can begin making arrangements after you receive the confirmation notice from us.
I’m unsure of how to make international flight arrangements. Do you offer assistance?
Yes. Even though your flight costs are NOT included in the package price we are happy to advise travelers on how to make flight arrangements generally or for a particular trip. Just reach out!
Is the cost of airfare included?
No, the cost of airfare is NOT included in the trip package. Each traveler will need to make their own flight arrangements to arrive for the start of the program. As soon as the trip is confirmed, we will connect the group which will be a great way to share flight information.
What type of accommodation will I stay in?
The accommodations will vary with each adventure and will be clearly indicated in the trip description. We work hard to find spectacular locations and accommodations.
Do I need to purchase trip insurance?
Yes, each traveler is required to purchase travel insurance from a company of their choice. We’ve found World Nomads to be affordable. After the trip is confirmed, we will be asking for proof of insurance.
Will I need vaccines before my trip?
Each country will have different vaccine requirements. Take a look at the CDC site for great information and talk to your doctor about what will be needed. Be sure to check this at least 2 months in advance of your trip.
Will I need a Passport?
You will need a current U.S. Passport for all international travel. If you don’t have one please allow enough time to get one.
What should I bring on my trip?
This will vary depending on the trip location and itinerary. Watch for communication from us after your trip is confirmed. We’ll be providing a detailed “What to Pack” with each adventure. In the meantime, take a look at our Travel Like a PRO blog to begin preparations.
Is my deposit refundable?
Your deposit and any payments are 100% refundable until the trip is confirmed with the minimum number of travelers. If the trip does not have the minimum number of travelers or is cancelled because of circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a 100% refund. You will be notified when the trip is confirmed, after which your deposit and payments are NON-refundable.
Is your payment platform secure?
Yes, we’ve partnered with WeTravel, a payment and booking platform for travel companies, to ensure your payments and confidential information are secure. WeTravel verifies the identity and credibility of each travel organization… we’ve been validated 🙂
